Serving Size 1servings
Ingredients
¾ cupultra filtered milk
½ cupGreek yogurt
1Tablespoonspeanut butter powder
2Tablespoonswhey protein powder
1Tablespooncocoa powder(1-3 Tablespoons of Cocoa depending on how rich you like your chocolate flavor)
2teaspooonsstevia
1teaspoonvanilla extract
½ cupbanana(frozen)
Notes
Use a high-speed blender for the smoothest texture.
Freeze bananas in small chunks (not whole) to save your blender and your patience.
Liquids first! – Pour the milk into the blender first (this helps blades run smoothly).
Milk swap – Any milk works: oat, almond, or soy if you prefer dairy-free. I like ultra-filtered milk as it is high in calcium and rich in protein which suits my nutrition goals at the moment.
Protein Powder - Use your favourite or even skim milk powder. I like to use either a vanilla whey protein or chocolate bone broth protein powder in this recipe.
No stevia? Try honey, maple syrup, or skip altogether if your banana is sweet enough.
Flavor swap – Use natural peanut butter instead of peanut butter powder for a creamier, richer taste (it will add more calories and fat but less protein).
Fiber boost – Add oats, chia seeds, or flax for extra fiber and staying power.
Green it up – A handful of spinach blends right in without changing the flavor.
Dessert vibes – Top with cacao nibs, a swirl of peanut butter, or even a few chocolate chips.
New to Peanut Butter Powder? Peanut butter powder is made by pressing roasted peanuts to remove most of the natural oils, then grinding them into a fine powder. The result? That classic peanut butter flavor with a fraction of the fat and fewer calories, but you still have all the protein. It’s a handy pantry staple for smoothies, baking, and sauces. You can find it in most U.S. grocery stores near the nut butters or in the health food aisle . In New Zealand, it’s often sold in health food shops or online specialty stores, I get mine from 'Nothing Naughty'.
